Admission requirements
Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in any of the following courses: BSc. Computer Science, BSc. Information Technology, BSc. Computer Technology, BSc. Computer Security and Forensics, BSc. Mathematics and Computer Science or equivalent qualifications from an institution recognized by MUST Senate OR; Bachelor’s degree with Second Class Honours (Lower Division) in any of the following courses: BSc. Computer Science, BSc. Information Technology, BSc. Computer Technology, BSc. Computer Security and Forensics, BSc. Mathematics and Computer Science or equivalent qualifications. The candidate is expected to provide evidence of research
Programme description
The program takes a minimum of four (4) academic years where an academic year consists of two (2) semesters.

- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of essential facts, concepts, principles, and theories relating to Data Science and software applications;
- Demonstrate the ability to develop models for large scale data analysis
- Execute statistical data analyses using appropriate software
- Apply data science concepts and methods to solve problems in real-world contexts and will communicate these solutions effectively
