The School through its departments offer tailored undergraduate programmes designed to meet emerging and ever-rising demands of technology professionals. All our programmes are approved by the Commission of the University Education (CUE) and are regularly reviewed and updated to meet the dynamism of the technology world. The School endeavors to produce professionals who are highly skilled, ethical and flexible to work in all Technology related industries ranging from Computer Security, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science and Communication and Journalism
Admissions
Admission for postgraduate degree programmes is done throughout the year for January, May and September intakes. Application is done online through the Online Application System: https://admission.must.ac.ke/

| Ph.D. in Information Technology | A master degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or related discipline of Meru University of Science and Technology, or an equivalent qualification from another institution recognized by Senate. |
| Ph.D. in Information System |
A candidate holding a Master of Science degree in the following fields i.e. Information systems, Information Technology, Computer science, Data Science, Information Science, Health informatics, supply chain management, MSc. Statistics, MSc. Applied mathematics, MSc. Engineering, Management information systems and any other related sciences from accredited institutions. OR; an equivalent qualification from another institution recognized by the Senate. |
| Ph.D. Information Security and Audit |
A Master’s degree from Meru University of Science and Technology in Information Security and Audit or equivalent qualification from other institutions (ii) In addition to the above, applicants must meet the specific requirements of the Doctorate Programme provided by the Meru University of Science and Technology Senate. |
| Ph.D. Computer Science | A master degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline of Meru University of Science and Technology, or an equivalent qualification from another institution recognized by Senate. |

| Masters of Science in Computer Science | Bachelor’s degree with at least Second Class Honours (Upper Division) in any of the following courses: BSc. Computer Science, BSc. Information Technology, BSc. Computer Technology, BSc. Computer Security and Forensics, Bachelor of Business Information Technology, BSc. Mathematics and Computer Science or equivalent qualifications from an institution recognized by MUST Senate OR; Bachelor’s degree with Second Class Honours (Lower Division) in any of the following courses: BSc. Computer Science, BSc. Information Technology, BSc. Computer Technology, BSc. Computer Security and Forensics, Bachelor of Business Information Technology, BSc. Mathematics and Computer Science or equivalent qualifications. The candidate is expected to provide evidence of research experience of three (3) years OR; relevant post qualification work experience of five (5) years in a relevant field. |
